Though yesterday’s cake balls were nothing less than absolutely delicious, they may have been a bit too indulgent for our apartment, which consists of zumba instructors, gym enthusiasts, and soror-biddies. Tonight, Karen & I decided to make a lighter yet equally as tasty treat to help our suite rev up for the spring semester - white and dark chocolate covered strawberries. I have no doubt they’ll be devoured by this time tomorrow evening.
As a light dusting of snow fell over Boston on the eve of the first day of classes, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to make some Oreo cake balls for my suitemates as a sugary pick-me-up. I’ve never been one for cakes myself, but the appeal of these tiny morsels of Oreo deliciousness piqued my interest . Though they were definitely a sinful combination of cream cheese frosting, Oreo, & milk chocolate, the small fluffy balls allowed dieters like myself to indulge without completely ruining our progress.

Overall, these were a decadent but completely nomalicious choice that added just the right touch to the beginning of the semester.
